ABOUT THE BIBLE
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write
the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.
(II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26)

ABOUT GOD
We believe that there is One God, eternally revealed to the world in the Father, the Son,
Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. By Him were all things created.
(I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11)

(I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11)
ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to redeem all of mankind. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life on this earth, performed many undeniable miracles, was crucified for our sins,
buried and was raised from the dead for our justification. By the name of Jesus Christ,
and His name only, can mankind be saved. Jesus Christ sits at the Right Hand of the Father
and will return personally in power and glory to receive His Church unto Himself.
(John 1:1,14, 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; Philippians 2:5-6; I Timothy 2:5)

ABOUT HUMANITY
We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of
regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.
(Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)
regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.
(Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)
ABOUT SALVATION
We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the
forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in
the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
(John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22)

ABOUT WATER BAPTISM
Following faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the new convert is commanded by the Word of God
to be baptized in water. Just as every believer in the New Testament Church was baptized
we believe that every believer must be "buried with Christ in baptism".
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48; Romans 6:4;
Ephesians 4:5; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21)

ABOUT CHRISTIAN LIFE
We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God
and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature
and be conformed to the image of Christ.
(I Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23; II Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18, II Thessalonians 2:1-3,
Romans 8:29, 12:1-2, Hebrews 2:11)

Romans 8:29, 12:1-2, Hebrews 2:11)
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the multi-faceted work of the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin, revelation of the truth
of the Gospel of Christ, drawing of the sinner to God, adoption of mankind into the Body of Christ through regeneration, and the distribution and administration of the Gifts and Fruit of the Holy Spirit
in the believer’s life. Jesus Christ is the "baptizer with the Holy Spirit" for the empowerment
of the Church through the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.
(Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; John 14:16-17, 26;
Acts 1:5,2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6)

ABOUT THE CHURCH
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head.
The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ.
The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22; John 17:11, 20-23)
